Kayla Nelson, RN, Certified Dementia Practioner, CEO & Co-Owner
Kayla grew up in North Bend, NE and obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from Metropolitan Community College (Omaha). Kayla has been serving Omaha area seniors since 2013 as a CNA, LPN, and RN. Kayla opened True North Home Care (Omaha) in 2022. Kayla's passion is helping seniors have quality of life at home, and be able to stay at home throughout their lives. Kayla loves spending quality time with her husband, David, their daughter, and their dogs.
Dr. Marwan Salfity, Co-Owner
Dr. Salfity is a board-certified cardiologist in Omaha, Nebraska with more than 35 years of experience. He specializes in treating coronary heart disease, heart failure, and heart valve disorders. Dr. Salfity enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and learning more about home care.
Tiffany Kellen, Director of Operations
Tiffany Kellen is a Fremont, Nebraska resident who enjoys spending time with her family and reading in her free time. With 15 years of experience in healthcare, she holds credentials in assisted living administration and has a strong background in senior living and home care. Tiffany is passionate about supporting older adults and helping families feel confident, supported, and cared for throughout their care journey.
Martha Jiel, Care Coordinator
Martha grew up in Omaha, graduated from Omaha North High. Martha came to True North in the very beginning as a Care Provider. Prior to True North, she was working in the food service industry. In her few years with True North, Martha obtained her CNA certification and was promoted to Lead Care Provider and now Care Coordinator. Martha is studying Sociology and Non-Profit Management at the University of Nebraska- Omaha. When she isn't working, Martha enjoys reading True Crime, mysteries, and social commentary.,
Simone Armstead, Care Coordinator
Simone Armstead is a Care Coordinator/Scheduler at True North Home Care with over 10 years of experience in home care, client services, scheduling, and team leadership. She is passionate about supporting clients, caregivers, and families through strong communication, organization, and compassionate care. Simone takes pride in helping ensure quality services while creating positive relationships with both staff and clients. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, personal growth, and spending time with family and friends.
Monica Finch, Certified Dementia Practioner, Bachelor's in Gerontology and Lead Care Provider
Monica brings experience and attention to detail to the role of Lead Care Provider. She loves training new care providers on the RIGHT way to do things. When she isn't at work she is active in her church and spends quality time with her family.
