Kayla Nelson, RN, CEO & Co-Owner
Kayla grew up in North Bend, NE and obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from Metropolitan Community College (Omaha). Kayla has been serving Omaha area seniors since 2013 as a CNA, LPN, and RN. Kayla opened True North Home Care (Omaha) in 2022. Kayla's passion is helping seniors have quality of life at home, and be able to stay at home throughout their lives. Kayla loves spending quality time with her husband, David, their daughter, and their three dogs!
Dr. Marwan Salfity, Co-Owner
Dr. Salfity is a board-certified cardiologist in Omaha, Nebraska with more than 35 years of experience. He specializes in treating coronary heart disease, heart failure, and heart valve disorders. Dr. Salfity enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and learning more about home care.
Mary Szalewski, Human Resources Manager
Mary is from Omaha, NE. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Mary started with True North in the Summer of 2024 as a Team Developer and has been promoted to Human Resources Director. Mary also worked a a CNA prior to joining True North. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her corgi Mr. Wellington and watching True Crime TV.
Martha Jiel, Care Coordinator
Martha grew up in Omaha, graduated from Omaha North High. Martha came to True North in the very beginning as a Care Provider. Prior to True North, she was working in the food service industry. In her few years with True North, Martha obtained her CNA certification and was promoted to Lead Care Provider and now Care Coordinator. Martha is studying Sociology and Non-Profit Management at the University of Nebraska- Omaha. When she isn't working, Martha enjoys reading True Crime, mysteries, and social commentary.,
Jacque Martinez, Bilingual Care Coordinator
Jacque is a proud, single, Latina mother from Fremont, NE. She joined our team in Spring of 2025 after beating the odds and building a life she's proud of. In her free time, she enjoys going shopping with her two daughters and relaxing at home with her two cats and two dogs, often sneaking in cozy naps with them. Jacque loves to share her culture (and her love of cooking) with her clients and hopes to offer more support to the Spanish- speaking care providers and clients.
Judith "Jaja" Gonzalez, Scheduling Specialist
Jaja is True North's Scheduling Specialist and Virtual Assistant from the Philippines! She works night shift in the Philippines, which is normal business hours here in Nebraska. Jaja works hard to match clients with their perfect fit care provider. When she isn't working, Jaja loves spending time with her family.
Eloisa Medrano
Eloisa is True North's Recruiter and Team Specialist / Virtual Assistant from the Philippines. She also works nights in the Philippines and our normal office hours. She is a bubbly personality and works hard to make sure only the best applicants get interviews at True North. Eloisa has a sweet tooth and loves 90s Honda Civics.
Elizabeth "Liz" Kreifels, Lead Care Provider
Liz loves jumping in to help the team when needed. She is an experienced CNA and mom of littles. She loves spending time with her family. She is a great role model for care providers to learn from
Monica Finch, Lead Care Provider
Monica brings experience and attention to detail to the role of Lead Care Provider. She loves training new care providers on the RIGHT way to do things. When she isn't at work she is active in her church and spends quality time with her family.
